Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE) Department at East West University is housed under the faculty of Sciences and Engineering. The ECE Department offers the core and some elective courses of the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Department and the basic science courses, e.g., Mathematics, Physics and Statistics courses for different undergraduate degree programs under the faculty of Sciences & Engineering.

At present, the department offers the following programs:
- B.S. in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering (ETE),
- B.S. in Information & Communications Engineering (ICE),
- M.S. in Telecommunication Engineering (TE).

B.Sc. in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETE)
B.S. in ETE is a four year program. The purpose of the B.Sc. degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) at East West University is to produce competent engineers who are highly trained in both electronics and telecommunication engineering to meet the needs of our expanding industrial society. Graduates in this program will play an effective role in research and development in various electronics and telecommunication industries. The undergraduate ETE program prepares students with expertise in electronics and telecommunications engineering and technology through theoretical and hands on practices.
B.Sc. in Information & Communications Engineering (ICE)
B.S. in ICE is also a four year program. It is somewhat similar to the ETE program. However, they are not entirely the same. As far as ETE is concerned, the majority of the engineering core courses of this curriculum are from basic electronics engineering and from telecommunication engineering. In the elective modules, a student will have the flexibility to choose advanced courses either in electronic engineering or in telecommunication engineering. However, on the other hand, majority of the core courses of the ICE program are from computer systems engineering and telecommunication engineering. In the elective modules, a student of ICE will have the flexibility to choose advanced courses either in computer system engineering or in telecommunication engineering.
M.S. in Telecommunication Engineering (TE)
M.S. program in Telecommunication Engineering (TE) is a one year intensive program which includes course work as well as research work. The M.S. program in TE is designed to produce highly motivated and trained telecom specialists for the new frontiers of engineering. This program prepares the graduates for an exciting career in the emerging telecommunications industry.
