Md. Mobarak Hossain Khan PhD, Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Social Relations, East West University was invited as one of the course instructors and co-director of the 10th international summer school on “Spatial epidemiology, social media, and urban health”. The summer school was organized by the Humboldt University of Berlin, Geography Department, Berlin, Germany between 17 – 21 September 2018.

He was one of the founding directors of this summer school. This year he delivered lectures on “Epidemiological challenges and opportunities to urban mental health” to post-graduate (MS/PhD/Post-doctoral) students and researchers from around the globe.
