Dr Mohammed Sharif joined East West University as its vice chancellor in 2007 after a long distinguished career at the University of Rhode Island. A person with interest in diverse fields is actively involved both in the academia and the community. He brings with him broad and rich experiences from working with the media and leading and organizing international conferences to authoring important scholarly works.

 Now he has taken up the challenge to evolve East West University into one of the finest institution in the region. With a rich team of faculty with advanced degrees and professional experience from around the world, Professor Sharif is now on a mission.
