| EEE department students visit the nuclear reactor of AERE |
33 senior students of the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, along with Dr. Md. Ishfaqur Raza and Dr. Khairul Alam, visited the Atomic Energy Research Establishment (AERE) in Savar to gain a firsthand experience about the sole nuclear reactor in the country. The 3MW TRIGA Mark-II nuclear reactor was commissioned in 1986 and is used for training, research and isotope production. |
