MD SAWKAT ALI received his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. He completed M.Eng. (research) in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Central Queensland University, Rockhampton, Australia. After completion of Ph.D., he worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Central Queensland University and Deakin University, Australia. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, East West University, Bangladesh. His research interests include IoT, machine learning, power electronics, linear and nonlinear control theory and its applications, microgrids, renewable energy.
