Mohammad Hasan Jan graduated from the Department of English, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh with a major in English literature. Currently he is working as a senior lecturer in English at East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His research interests include environmental/eco theory and literatures, Indigenous and Postcolonial ecocriticism, environmental humanities, Postcolonial theory and literature, Cultural Studies, and Subaltern Studies. He has published research articles in nationals journals of repute, and presented papers on ecocriticism and environmental literature at international conferences both at home and abroad.
