Professor Shamsun Nahar Khan has been invited as the distinguished speaker in the World Forum for Women in Science Conference


Dr. Shamsun Nahar Khan, Professor, Department of Pharmacy, East West University (EWU) has been invited as the distinguished speaker in the World Forum for Women in Science Conference hosted in Rome, Italy on 15-17 April-2024. Dr. Khan participated in the inauguration of the conference on 15 April 2024, inaugural session was enriched by the opening remarks from distinguished scientists from prestigious organizations:    Emanuela Colombo, UNESCO Chair, Angela Liberatore, European Research Council (ERC)Beatrice Valterio, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Italy, Berlin, Charles LM Kimpolo, Next Eistein Forum, Director, AIMS Industry Initiative, Vittorio Bo, Festival Science, the Director of National Geographic Italia Marco Cattaneo, Priscilla Mante, Global Young Academy, Halle, Germany, Amal Amin, Woman in Science without border, Egypt, Dr.  Nerina Finetto, Traces and Dreams, Italy. This conference was Organised by Women in Science Without Borders and Traces&Dreams in collaboration with Fondazione Musica per Roma Festival Delle Scienze

Professor Shamsun Nahar Khan’s discussion includes “Navigating COVID-19: Challenges, Adaptations, and Future Strategies.” This session was hosted by Dr.  Nerina Finetto, Director of the WFWS 2024. This session was live-streamed on different popular public media.

Professor Khan had been selected as a chair of the session entitled “COVID-19, Gender Disparities, and Health Solutions” held on Wednesday, the 17th of April 2024 at  8:30 - 9:45 CET. Dr. Khan  moderated the sessions where distinguished scientists presented their research work as follows:
