Outstanding Performance of the EWU Law Students in the Asian Law College International Moot Court Competition 2025






A team from the Department of Law, East West University has achieved a remarkable 2nd Quarter Finalist position and the Best Female Oralist Award at the Asian Law College International Moot Court Competition 2025, held in Noida, India, surpassing 24 international teams. The team, representing Bangladesh as the sole Bangladeshi participant, was selected and funded by the Bangladesh Society of International Law (BSIL).
Comprising Kazi Ayman Awsaf (Oralist), Tanjim Maliha Taha (Oralist), and Syeda Nabila Haque (Researcher), the team showcased exceptional legal acumen. Tanjim Maliha Taha was honored with the prestigious Best Female Oralist Award for her outstanding advocacy skills.
The team extends heartfelt gratitude to their coach, Mr. Riad Mahmud, Senior Lecturer, Department of Law, for his invaluable guidance; Ms. Oishe Rahman, Lecturer, Department of Law, for her unwavering support; and Dr. Nabaat Tasnima Mahbub, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Law, for her encouragement and constant support.
This achievement marks a proud milestone for EWU, as its students continue to elevate Bangladesh’s reputation on prestigious international platforms.
