Professor Dr. Dilara Begum was invited as a speaker at an International Conference in Bangalore, India


Professor Dr. Dilara Begum, Chairperson, Department of Information Studies, East West University, was invited as a speaker at the International Conference on "Digital Landscape in Library 4.0 (DLL 4.0)," organized by the Department of Library and Information Science and Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Central Library. This conference was held at Bangalore University from 02 to 04 December 2024. The title of her invited talk was "AI in Libraries and Information Institutions: Accept or Reject?" Dr. Dilara Begum emphasized the ethical use of AI and how AI can effectively integrate in libraries.

Professor Dr. Dilara Begum, Chairperson, Department of Information Studies, East West University, was invited as a speaker at the 12th International Library Information Professional Summit (I-LIPS) on "Innovative Technologies in Librarianship: Challenges and Opportunities." This conference, organized by the Galgotias University Library, was held at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, from 29 November to 01 December 2024. The conference focused on the impact of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, data management, and digital literacy, on library services, providing participants with an opportunity to engage with thought leaders and explore innovative solutions for the future of librarianship. The title of her invited talk was "Academic Integrity and Digital Literacy: The Librarian's Role in the Era of AI."
