Duties and responsibilities:

The candidate should have interest and some experience in water and environment related research topics.

His/ Her responsibilities will be as follows-

- Water quality analysis based on standard methods,

- Air condensate volumetric data and water sample collection,

- Data analysis using statistical and modelling techniques,

- Assist in report writing and manuscript preparing,

- Contacting vendors and suppliers of chemicals and equipment,

- Project related jobs given by the principal researcher,

- Data and document management, and

- Other related tasks.

Qualification:

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering or related fields.

Experience:

1. Experience in air condensate and IOT research is an added value.
2. Prior experience in research writing will be an advantage.

Job Type & Duration:

1. Full-time contractual position.
2. Duration: 12 Months

Salary: BDT 20,000/= (consolidated per month)

Qualifications Required:

Professor: Ph.D. in the relevant field from a reputed university and a minimum of ten years’ active teaching experience at the university level of which at least five years as an Associate Professor is required. Years of experience may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional publication record.

Publications: For the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering: Minimum fifteen articles in international indexed journals. At least five articles should be published during the last five years.

For the Faculty of Business & Economics, Liberal Arts & Social Sciences: Minimum ten articles in reputed (at least 04 international) journals. At least four articles should be published during the last five years.

The candidate shall be principal author in half of the total publications required as well as at rank publications requirement level.

Associate Professor: Ph.D. in the relevant field from a reputed university and a minimum of five year’s active teaching experience at the university level of which at least four years as an Assistant Professor is required. Lecturer: Master’s degree with minimum five years’ university education from a reputed university is a minimum requirement. The candidate must have excellent academic results.

A Research Project entitled “A Brian Computer Interface System to Control Wheelchair for Severe Mobility Impaired Persons” funded by the East West University Center for Research and Training (EWUCRT), is seeking applications for the following positions.

Research Assistant/Associate:

Duties and responsibilities:

Conduct literature reviews related to Brain Computer Interface (BCI) and assistive technologies.

Assist in hardware integration and development of necessary software tools.

Perform experiments, collect and analyze data.

Contribute to writing and preparing research articles, reports, and dissemination materials.

Qualification:

1. Final year Bachelor’s or Master’s students of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
2. Strong academic background in relevant courses.
3. Interest in research on assistive technologies, AI/ML, hardware-software development, machine learning, or biomedical applications will be considered an advantage (not mandatory).

Experience (If Applicable): Prior research/project experience in hardware-software development, machine learning, or biomedical applications will be considered an advantage (not mandatory).

Job Type & Duration: Contractual position for up to 12 months.
