Professor Dr. Sufia Islam has been appointed as a member of the Board of Marie Stopes Bangladesh
Dr. Sufia Islam, Professor of the Department of Pharmacy and Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at East West University, has been appointed as a member of the Board of Marie Stopes Bangladesh (MSB), a pioneering organization that has stood at the frontlines of women’s health and reproductive rights for decades.
Marie Stopes International provides safe and affordable reproductive healthcare to women worldwide, including family planning and maternal health services. For 40 years, it has positively impacted millions in Bangladesh, particularly in underserved communities, by empowering women with vital health services and information.
Professor Islam looks forward to making meaningful contributions in guiding MSB towards its goals and strengthening its positive impact on the community.
