Position: DevSecOps Engineer

Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate security tools, standards, and processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate security testing and vulnerability scanning in code, container, and infrastructure layers.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement security controls and monitoring.
- Manage and improve infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Define and enforce secure coding practices through education and tooling.
- Conduct threat modeling, security assessments, and remediation planning.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents in the cloud and containerized environments.
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Stay updated on the latest DevSecOps trends, tools, and threats.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Security Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid grasp of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience with security tools (e.g., Snyk, Aqua, Trivy, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP).
- Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CKS, or CEH.
- Experience with secrets management tools (e.g., Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
- Familiarity with Zero Trust principles and secure software supply chain practices.
