Globesight is seeking a dynamic individual to join its Fellowship Program based out of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Fellowship is a 3-month remotely-based program, with a potential to transition into a long-term engagement.

About the Fellowship: This is an exciting opportunity for individuals to work in a dynamic organization focused on social development and international affairs. Fellows at Globesight are expected to provide dedicated program support across a range of internal and externally facing projects and engagements, requiring high-level commitment and engagement. The Fellowship provides unique learning opportunities throughout its duration. 

Responsibilities: 

● Provide high-level project, operational and logistics support for projects and workstreams 

● Assist in the preparation of events, concept notes, briefing materials, invitees’ lists, thank you notes, and other supporting materials 

● Represent Globesight at high-level meetings and convenings 

● Track news and developments relevant to global development 

● Develop and expand research and information databases 

● Prepare updates and reports as required on sectoral trends 

● Research a specialized topic in the social sector 

● Other tasks as required Qualifications 

● Graduate student from a leading and recognized university in the field of economics, development studies, public policy, international relations, or related area with a strong academic track record 

● Availability during standard working hours 

● Initial work experience in development, public policy, international affairs, or strategy consulting is an advantage 

● Diligent organizational, research and writing (long & short-form) skills 

● Rigorous analytical and critical thinking abilities 

● Self-disciplined, hardworking, good communication skills & can take initiative 

● Demonstrated interpersonal skills especially in cross-cultural environments 

● Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 

● Advanced spoken and written fluency in English required 

Compensation: This Fellowship will have a competitive stipend in line with market expectations.
