Position: Legal Officer
Organization: TripLover Ltd, Firsttrip Ltd, TravelChamp Ltd & Take Trip Ltd (US-Bangla Group Online Travel Agencies)
Role Overview:
The Legal Officer will provide legal support and guidance across all areas of company operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, mitigating risks, and supporting contracts, partnerships, and corporate governance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and other agreements.
- Ensure legal compliance across operations and maintain organized documentation.
- Monitor regulatory changes and coordinate with authorities or external counsel.
- Manage disputes, claims, and litigation to minimize legal risks.
- Support corporate governance, board resolutions, and statutory filings.
- Advise management on legal implications of strategies, campaigns, and partnerships.
- Conduct employee training on legal compliance and contract management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Law (LLB); LLM or equivalent preferred
- 2–5 years’ experience in corporate legal, compliance, or contract management (travel/tech industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Bangladeshi laws, corporate regulations, and contract practices
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Preferred: Experience with partnership and e-commerce agreements, IP and employment law, and familiarity with corporate governance processes
