Position: Trainee Consultant – HR (Full-Time Internship)

LightCastle Partners is seeking a motivated Trainee Consultant – Human Resources for a four-month full-time internship. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various HR functions within a dynamic consulting environment. The Trainee Consultant will primarily support key HR operations, recruitment, and organizational development initiatives. 

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (completed or ongoing) in HR, Business Administration, Management, or a relevant field.

  • Interest: Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in Human Resources.

  • Foundational Knowledge: Familiarity with HR principles and best practices.

  • Prior Experience (Plus): Previous internship or campus leadership experience will be considered an advantage.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Mandatory: Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Forms).

    • Mandatory: Knowledge of Canva for creating internal communication materials.

    • Preferred: Basic understanding or practical experience with AI tools in HR processes (e.g., AI-based recruitment platforms, automated forms, dashboards).

  • Key Competencies:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Creativity and attention to detail in content creation.

    • Proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and adaptability.

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

    • Key responsibilities include:

      • Recruitment & Onboarding: Assisting with job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and preparing digital materials and documentation for new hires.

      • HR Operations: Maintaining employee records, managing leave, contracts, and attendance, and supporting day-to-day HR administrative tasks and data management using Google Suite.

      • Employee Engagement: Assisting in planning and executing employee engagement events and internal communication campaigns, designing visual content using Canva, overseeing cultural initiatives, and supporting the design and implementation of learning and development programs.

      • HR Process Automation & Improvement: Utilizing AI tools (e.g., chatbots, survey analysis, automated tracking) to streamline HR functions and helping to improve and digitize HR documentation, workflows, and reporting.

      • Employer Branding: Assisting with campus initiatives to enhance the company’s presence and reputation on university campuses, including job fairs, university partnerships, internships, and scholarship programs.

    • Upon successful completion of the internship, there is a possibility of being offered a permanent role based on performance and alignment with organizational values.
