Dr. Md. Nawab Yousuf Ali completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He earned his M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Lvov Polytechnic Institute, Lvov, Ukraine, USSR.
He is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, a position he has held since October 2020. Prior to this, he served in various academic and administrative capacities at East West University, including as an Associate Professor (July 2013 - October 2020), Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (August 2012 - July 2014), Assistant Professor (July 2009 - July 2013), Senior Lecturer (January 2003 - July 2009), and Lecturer (January 2001 - January 2003).
Dr. Md. Nawab Yousuf Ali has contributed extensively to academic research through numerous appraised papers and has showcased his work at various prestigious national and international conferences. His research articles have been published in renowned journals such as the International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybermetrics, MDPI-Information, International Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications (IJACSA), Journal of Engineering and Applied Science, International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence (IJACI), JP Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, and International Journal of Artificial Life Research, among others. He has also published conference papers at globally recognized events such as IEEE AISP, ICCIT, ICSCC, ICASERT, ICSI, ICRITO, ICCCE, ICDIM, IALP and many more renowned conferences.
Dr. Ali has active research collaborations with esteemed professors and researchers worldwide. His research spans diverse areas, including Natural Language Processing, Universal Networking Language, Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), and Embedded Systems. He has made significant contributions in these fields, particularly in the development of frameworks for machine translation and algorithms for text analysis.
Moreover, Dr. Ali has been serving as a Question Making Committee (QMC) member of Information Technology Professionals Examination Council (ITPEC) under the project of “Capacity Building on ITEE Management”, JICA, Japan, led by Bangladesh Computer Council under the Ministry of Posts, and Telecommunication & Information Technology.
