EWU Medical Center: Supporting Health, Well-being, and Inclusion
East West University (EWU) is committed to fostering a healthy, safe, and inclusive campus environment through its dedicated Medical Center. The Center provides accessible, confidential, and professional healthcare services to all students, faculty, and staff during working hours.

Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Services The EWU Medical Center is staffed by two qualified physicians (one male and one female) and a senior female staff nurse, ensuring accessible and inclusive care for all. The Center delivers immediate and routine medical support, including health check-ups, provisional diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Patients receive prompt medical attention, prescriptions, and guidance on necessary diagnostic investigations. When required, cases are referred to specialized healthcare facilities to ensure appropriate and continued treatment.
Emergency Response and On-Campus Support The Medical Center is equipped to respond to emergencies with trained personnel and essential medical equipment. An on-campus ambulance service ensures rapid response and safe transfer to nearby healthcare facilities when needed. In addition, the Center maintains wheelchairs and other assistive equipment to support mobility and immediate care requirements across campus.

Sexual and Reproductive Health & Well-being EWU prioritizes awareness and access to sexual and reproductive healthcare services. The Medical Center provides confidential counseling and guidance on sexual health, reproductive health, gender-related issues, and overall well-being. Students and staff are encouraged to seek advice in a safe and respectful environment. A supportive, non-judgmental approach is maintained at all times, with additional psychological and clinical support available when necessary.
Health Education and Preventive Care Beyond treatment, the Medical Center actively promotes preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyles. Guidance on nutrition, hygiene, and behavioral health is regularly provided to the university community. Health education is further strengthened through seminars and awareness programs organized by various academic departments, ensuring that students and staff remain informed about key health issues.
Disability Support and Inclusive Care The Medical Center also serves as a Disability Support Office, reinforcing EWU’s commitment to inclusivity. Dedicated staff provide continuous assistance to students with disabilities, including personalized consultations, mobility support, and access to necessary medical resources. Students are encouraged to engage with the Center regularly or whenever support is needed, ensuring an inclusive and supportive academic environment for all.
