Blood Donation Campaign 2026 organized by the Rotaract Club of East West University
The RACEWU Blood Donation Campaign 2026, organized by the Rotaract Club of East West University, commenced with a meaningful recognition from Bangladesh Thalassemia Samity, which presented a crest of appreciation to Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik, Pro Vice-Chancellor, East West University, in recognition of RACEWU’s contribution to blood donation initiatives. With the active participation of EWU students, volunteers, and donors, the campaign successfully collected a meaningful number of blood bags over the two-day initiative. The first day, Rtr. RPh Sanjaya Adhikari, Vice President (ISC), Rotaract Club of Changu, Nepal was welcomed in the campaign whose presence further enriched the occasion.
The campaign featured a blood donation camp alongside a Thalassemia Awareness Seminar, focusing on voluntary blood donation, thalassemia awareness, prevention, and the importance of early screening. The seminar was graced by Sayeed Deedar Bakth, Adviser, Bangladesh Thalassemia Samity, and Dr. M. A. Matin, President, Bangladesh Thalassemia Samity.
The initiative reflects the commitment of the EWU community towards service, awareness, and creating lasting impact.
