Faculty Members of Sociology Department Received Research Grants

A research team from the Department of Sociology of East West University received the funding from East West University Center for Research and Training (EWUCRT) to conduct the study titled "Environmental Degradation and Displacement of Forest-Dependent Communities: A Socio-ecological Study in the Sundarbans Area, Bangladesh". The research project will be carried out by Dr. Mumita Tanjeela, Associate Professor, Dr. Rasel Hussain, Assistant Professor & Mr. Helal Uddin, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Sociology.
