East West University Holds 'Dua Mahfil' in Memory of Late Student D. M. Mushfiquzzaman

East West University (EWU) arranged a deeply felt Session of Reminiscence and Dua Mahfil on December 11, 2025, to honor the memory of its departed student, D. M. Mushfiquzzaman, an undergraduate student of the Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, who passed away on November 20, 2025.
The heartfelt gathering was organized by the Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences and held at the Front of the Admission Office premises on the university campus. The purpose of the assembly was to pray for the peace and eternal rest of Mushfiq's departed soul and to offer condolences to his family.
The Dua Mahfil saw the presence of EWU's high officials, including Professor Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chairperson, Board of Trustees; Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor; Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik, Pro-Vice Chancellor; and Air Cdre (Retd.) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer.
They were joined by numerous faculty members, administrative officials, and fellow students of the university who gathered to pay their respects and share in the prayer. The atmosphere reflected the deep sense of loss felt by the entire EWU community for the promising young student.
