East West University Observes 55th National Victory Day

East West University (EWU) marked Bangladesh's 55th National Victory Day with solemn homage and tribute to the valiant freedom fighters and millions of martyrs who gave their lives for the country's independence. The EWU family gathered to honor their memory and celebrate the nation's historic achievement.
The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag at the EWU ‘Shaheed Minar’ premises at 6:34 a.m., followed by a special “Munajat” for the martyrs and freedom fighters, as well as for the peace and prosperity of Bangladesh. This heartfelt prayer took place in the early morning at the EWU Campus, Aftabnagar, Dhaka.
The program was attended by notable university figures, including Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor; Professor Dr. M. Ashik Mosaddik, Pro Vice Chancellor; Air Cdre (Retd.) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer of the university. The event saw active participation from Deans, Faculty Members, Registrar, Proctor, Officers, Students, and University Staff, all coming together to pay their respects and celebrate this momentous occasion.
