Oct 09, 2023

"Eight members of the East West University Photography Club, namely Hisham Khan, Mashiat Fairuj Maria, Mahdin Shafiq Omi, Md Samiur Rahman Shafin, Ashraful Rafid, Prinon Mostafa Fahad, Ahnaf Khan, and Zahan Yeada, recently participated in the National Photography Exhibition "SFURON 4.0," organized by the BUP-Photography Society on September 27, 2023. This exhibition was held at the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) campus.

Photography enthusiasts from all over the country took part, submitting a total of 700 photos for consideration. Out of these, around eighty photos were selected for display. Remarkably, twenty-seven of these photos were chosen from our talented East-West Photography Club members. This selection truly showcases the exceptional skills of our club members in both camera and mobile photography. Their outstanding work in both categories received well-deserved recognition, with two club members securing first prizes in both the Mobile Photography and Camera Photography segments. Md Samiur Rahman Shafin secured the first prize in the "Mobile Photography" segment, while Ashraful Rafid won the first prize in the "Camera Photography" segment.

This accomplishment showcases the unwavering commitment and passion for photography that our club members consistently display. Their creativity and dedication have brought our club recognition on a national level, which is a significant achievement for East West University as well. We have confidence that our photographers will continue to earn national and international awards for both the university and the club in the future."
