EWU Set the Countdown Board to Celebrate 'Mujib Barsha'

As part of the celebration, to the year-long celebrations of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary, East West University also initiated a series of programs. In that continuation, a countdown board has been set at the entrance of EWU. And the board is designed by the students of EWU also members of the EWU Electronics Club.  

Prof. Dr. M.M. Shahidul Hassan, Vice Chancellor, EWU, along with the President of EWU Electronics Club, officially inaugurated the board. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, Pro Vice Chancellor, A. Z. M. Shafiqul Alam, Treasurer, Mohammad Eklas Uddin, Director of Finance, Mashfiqur Rahman, Registrar, Farida Yasmin, Controller of Examinations, Nahid Hassan Khan, Advisor, DSW and Head of CCC, M Saddam Hossain Khan, Moderator, EWU Electronics Club and members of the club also present on the occasion.  

Bangabandhu’s birth centenary celebrations, officially termed “Mujib Borsho” or Mujib Year, will take off on his birthday, 17 March 2020 and will continue till on 26 March 2021, which marks the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh’s Independence Day.
