EWUCRT Hosts a Knowledge-Sharing Seminar on Environmental Expectations in Global Supply Chains

The East West University Center for Research and Training (EWUCRT) hosted a Knowledge-Sharing seminar titled "When Green Demands Get Tough: Examining the Effects of Buyer's Stringent Environmental Expectations on Suppliers" on July 22, 2026, at the Nousher Ali Lecture Gallery of the University.
The seminar was chaired by Professor Dr. M. Ashik Mosaddik, Pro-Vice Chancellor of East West University (EWU). Proceedings commenced with an introductory speech by Professor Dr. Md. Sohel Rana.
The centerpiece of the event was a keynote presentation delivered by Dr. Rezaul Shumon, Assistant Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management in the Department of Operations Management and Business Statistics, College of Economics and Political Science at Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman.
Following the formal presentations, the floor was opened for a lively interactive question-and-answer session. The seminar drew an engaged audience comprised of EWU faculty members, EWUCRT officials, and enthusiastic students.
