EWUCRT Hosts A Research Seminar on Advanced Data Clustering Techniques

The East West University Center for Research and Training (EWUCRT) organized an insightful research seminar titled “Discovering Arbitrarily Shaped Clusters in High-Dimensional Numerical Data” on 05 March 2026 at the EWUCRT Seminar Room of East West University (EWU).
The seminar featured Dr. Md. Mozammel Huq Azad Khan, Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at EWU, as the keynote presenter. Dr. Khan shared his vast expertise on identifying complex patterns within high-dimensional data, a critical challenge in modern computational analysis. Professor Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, Dean of UCSI University, Bangladesh Branch, served as the formal discussant, providing academic context and further technical depth to the findings presented.
The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor of EWU and Chairperson of EWUCRT. The proceedings commenced with welcome remarks from Professor Dr. Sohel Rana, Executive Director of EWUCRT. The event was attended by a distinguished audience, including Professor Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chairperson and Founder Vice Chancellor of EWU, Professor Dr. M. Ashik Mosaddik, Pro-Vice Chancellor, EWU, Air Cdre (retd) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer, EWU, alongwith senior faculty members, administrative officers, and students.
