Start-Up Stars: Boost Up Your Own Business

East West Economics Club organized an Intra University Entrepreneurship Exhibition Competition titled “Start-Up Stars: Boost up Your Own Business”. The students who were interested to start their journey as an entrepreneur or who already started it, got an opportunity to participate here and learn how to extend their business in structured form. The program was held on 17, 20, and 21 October. In 17 October, an interactive workshop was taken by a speaker of Economics Department, Nawaf Kabir. In this workshop, participants got an idea about the event and their answers of their queries. The participants also got to know about the minor hence important steps of starting and monitoring a business. Later participants were assigned with a case based on a hypothetical scenario of our country. According to the case-solve evaluation by judges, some participants got the chance to pursue to the next segment. In 20 October, young entrepreneurs got a chance to display their own products. There were stalls for them to sell their product at their desired price. Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Advisor, Founder Vice Chancellor, Former Chairperson, Board of Trustees, East West University inaugurated this segment. Along with him some other faculty members came to visit stalls and bought products from participants. The guests and the visitors also appreciated the young entrepreneurs for their brilliant ideas. It helped them to ignite with more enthusiasm and passion at their preferred field of business.
