The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in partnership with the Center for Research and Training (CRT) East West University (CRTEWU), successfully organized two impactful sessions on May 22 and May 29, 2025. The first session delivered a comprehensive overview of the theoretical framework for “Constructive Alignment of Students' Learning within the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Framework: Teaching-Learning Strategies.” The following week, we hosted an engaging hands-on session on May 29, focused on “Program Learning Outcomes (PLO) and Course Learning Outcomes (CLO); PLO-CLO Mapping; Assessment Tools; Rubrics; and Continuous Quality Improvement.” These sessions provided valuable insights and strategies for enhancing the quality of education.
Both workshops were engagingly interactive, and participants gained valuable insights into the intricacies of Program Learning Outcomes (PLO) and Course Learning Outcomes (CLO) mapping, as well as effective assessment tools and the development of rubrics tailored for academic evaluation. Additionally, the workshops emphasized the significance of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), equipping faculty with strategies to enhance educational standards continually.
Professor Sufia Islam, Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the resource persons for their generous allocation of time and their expert guidance throughout the sessions, highlighting the vital role they play in fostering educational excellence. In his concluding remarks, Dr. Basanta Kumar Barmon articulated his appreciation for the collaborative efforts of the faculty members, the contributions of the resource persons, and the unwavering support of the IQAC and CRTEWU officials, acknowledging their collective commitment to advancing the institution's academic mission.
